Football Mad Nation
One month of football almost over.
It's been a memorable World Cup, lots of heartache and surprises but most of all, I'm dissappointed with Wayne Rooney and Ronaldo. Maybe its true, too much hype on Rooney (Shaun-Wright Philips is better) and too much focus on Ronaldo's belly.
All my favorites did not make it (Argentina, Germany, Brazil, Spain) and I was surrounded with people who are going to germany for a game, the quarterfinal and finals. Yup, they got the tickets to enter the stadium, and experience a football atmosphere at the heighest level.
I don't envy them, it's good that I have friends and family who are going so I can pester them for one of those big hats they wear at the stadium that you see so often on tv.hah.
Nations that got ejected from the World Cup will hate the other country who kick them out. The nations who are still in it party like crazy on the streets.. then you have the english hooligans, samba-skimpy-dressed south americans and hot wives and girlfriends of footballers....and it'll come back in 4 years time.
