TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS Summary of Tournament Rules Registration of Players This tournament is open to all Malaysians & Non-Malaysians listed under the following categories :- 1. Under-14 (born on or after 1st January 1994) 2. Under-16 (born on or after 1st January 1992) A team may register a minimum of 5 players or up to 6 players at the maximum All players must produce a copy of their I/C or birth certificate on the tournament days (Day 1 & 2) All teams must submit the entry form & payment for the entrance fee by the closing date of registration as follows: ¢ Kuala Lumpur - by 2nd April 2008 ¢ Johor Bahru - by 9th April 2008 ¢ Pulau Pinang - by 16th April 2008 ¢ Kuala Lumpur - by 7th May 2008 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For every entry forms registered, the team will receive a 20% discount voucher to purchase Adidas football products ONLY The organizer has the right to reject any late entries or if the number of participating teams have exceeded the maximum number of entries without given prior notice. Any teams caught fielding players above the age limit will be disqualified from the tournament Any team showing unruly behavior will be disqualified ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules & Regulations of Play All matches will be on a 5 vs. 5 format (5-a-side) i.e. 4 field players & 1 goalkeeper Substitutions are unlimited and on a rolling basis There will be no offside observed Kick-in Rule - The ball must not be thrown in, but rather kicked into play when it passes the side boundaries A goal may be scored after at least 2 players have touched the ball and may be scored from anywhere on the field Each match is 10 minutes duration (5 minutes per half with no interval/break during half time) All matches will be played on a grass field. However, no use of aluminums studded soccer boots is allowed.
